How we've organised the types of documents you'll interact with on a daily basis
Document Types
Documents come in all shapes and sizes and have different requirements depending on whether they are tied to a single booking, the customer, an application, etc.
The below articulates each of the document types, how they are defined/used, and any special conditions you need to be aware of.
Type: Booking
Define: Suitable for all customers. These can be attached to booking/s only.
Special Conditions: Its 'expiry' is naturally tied to the booking.
Type: Customer
Definition: Suitable for all customers. These can be attached to the Customer Profile only.
Special Conditions: Its 'expiry' is tied to the document, and allows for automatic renewal workflows.
Type: Application
Definition: Suitable for regular customers only. These can be attached to the Regular Application only.
Special Conditions: Its 'expiry' is tied to the document, and allows for automatic renewal workflows.
Type: Public Liability
Definition: This is a default document type. All fields are managed by SpacetoCo.
Special Conditions: The fulfilment option is set to 'Upload Require' and the expiry is set to 'true'. Dedicated workflows are available to help track if PLI is needed/required.
Type: Government Identity (coming soon)
Definition: This is a default document type created by SpacetoCo, and used for Passport, Drivers Licence and Government ID. We've partnered with Stripe Identity for security & privacy reasons. There is a charge per request to use this service.
