      Document Types & Examples

      How we've organised the types of documents you'll interact with on a daily basis, along with some examples.

      Document Types

      Documents come in all shapes and sizes and have different requirements depending on whether they are tied to a single booking, the customer, an application, etc. 

      The below articulates each of the document types, how they are defined/used, and any special conditions you need to be aware of.

      Booking
      Suitable for all customers. These can be attached to booking/s only. 
      Its expiry is naturally tied to the booking. 

      Customer
      Suitable for all customers. These can be attached to the Customer Profile only. 
      Its expiry is tied to the document, and allows for automatic renewal workflows. 

      Application
      Suitable for regular customers only. These can be attached to the Regular Application only. 
      Its expiry is tied to the document, and allows for automatic renewal workflows. 

      Public Liability Insurance (PLI)
      This is a default document type. All fields are managed by SpacetoCo. 
      The fulfilment option is set to 'Upload Required' and the expiry is set to 'true'. Dedicated workflows are available to help track if PLI is needed/required.

      Government Identity (coming soon)
      This is a default document type created by SpacetoCo, and used for Passport, Drivers Licence and Government ID. We've partnered with Stripe Identity for security & privacy reasons. There is a charge per request to use this service. 
      More information will be available after launch.
