Automate requests so documents stay up-to-date with less effort
This article explains how Hosts can leverage automation within SpacetoCo’s Document Management to streamline recurring document requests, such as Public Liability Insurance, and dramatically reduce manual admin.
Auto-Renewal
Enable auto-renewal on customer and application document templates that meet these conditions:

Fulfilment option is set to Upload Required

Expiry is enabled for the document
Once turned on, SpacetoCo will automatically trigger a new document request if all of the following are true:

Auto‑renewal is enabled on the document template.

The document is due to expire within the next X days (default is 30 days).

The customer has upcoming bookings scheduled beyond the expiry date.
This setup is especially helpful for documents like Public Liability Insurance (PLI)—you simply approve new uploads as they come, while the system handles the timing of requests.
