What laws and regulations to check when listing a Space on SpacetoCo.

This article is for Hosts who are preparing to list a Space or reviewing their ongoing compliance.

All SpacetoCo Hosts must comply with local rules and legislation regarding the short-term hire of their Space. Check with your local government or relevant governing body to ensure your Space meets all requirements before creating a listing.

Local regulations and property requirements may cover:

  • Health and safety compliance, including visible fire escape plans
  • Accessibility, including disabled access
  • Adequate facilities, including access to toilets
  • Zoning and planning approvals for short-term space hire

Commercial tenants must also verify that listing a Space on SpacetoCo does not breach any lease agreements or property terms.
