Anti-Bribery Policy

SpacetoCo's commitment to integrity and transparency: Our Anti-Bribery Policy ensures ethical business practices across all levels.

At SpacetoCo, we believe in doing business with integrity, fairness, and transparency. We have a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption, and we’re committed to ensuring that our operations are free from any kind of dishonest or unethical practices. This Anti-Bribery Policy outlines how we expect everyone at SpacetoCo – from employees to business partners – to uphold these standards.

What is Bribery?

Bribery is the offering, giving, receiving, or requesting of something of value in exchange for influencing decisions or actions. A bribe can take many forms, including:

  • Money

  • Gifts or favours

  • Any kind of improper inducement

Our Approach

We take a strong stance against bribery in any form. This policy is here to ensure that SpacetoCo maintains the highest ethical standards and complies with the Bribery Act 2010. Whether you’re an employee, contractor, or working with us as a business partner, you must follow these guidelines and report any suspected instances of bribery or corruption.

What You Need to Know

  • No Bribery: Offering, accepting, or soliciting bribes is strictly prohibited.

  • Gifts and Hospitality: Gifts and hospitality should be modest and appropriate. If you receive or offer any gift or hospitality worth over £100, you need to report it to our compliance team.

  • Facilitation Payments: These small payments to expedite services or transactions are strictly banned.

Gifts and Hospitality Guidelines

While gifts and hospitality can help build business relationships, they shouldn’t be used as a way to influence decisions. Here's what to keep in mind:

  • Modesty is Key: Gifts and hospitality should always be reasonable and proportionate.

  • Report Over £100: If the value exceeds £100, report it to the compliance officer. This includes meals, tickets, or other items of value that could be seen as attempts to influence business decisions.

If you're ever unsure about the appropriateness of a gift or hospitality offer, reach out to our compliance officer for guidance.

What to Do if You Suspect Bribery

If you believe that bribery or unethical behaviour is taking place, we want to know about it. It's important that we tackle any issues early to protect SpacetoCo’s integrity. Here’s how to report any concerns:

  • Email: Send an email to info@spacetoco.com to report any concerns confidentially.

  • Direct Communication: You can always talk to your manager or the compliance officer directly.

Disciplinary Actions

SpacetoCo takes violations of this policy very seriously. Anyone found to be involved in bribery or corruption will face disciplinary action, which could include dismissal. Legal actions could also be taken if necessary.

Training and Awareness

To ensure everyone at SpacetoCo is aware of how to avoid bribery risks, we provide regular training. All staff are required to attend training sessions on identifying and reporting bribery, and to understand the responsibilities laid out in this policy.

How We Monitor and Review

We continuously monitor our operations and review this policy to make sure it remains relevant and effective. As laws and regulations change, we’ll update this policy to keep it aligned with the latest requirements.

Our Commitment

At SpacetoCo, we are committed to creating a transparent, honest, and ethical workplace. Our goal is to ensure that all business dealings are carried out fairly, with no undue influence from bribery or corruption. We encourage everyone to act with integrity and always report any concerns immediately.
