      Accessibility

      SpacetoCo is committed to making our website accessible and inclusive. We aim to meet the needs of our community through setting consistent standards for our online platforms.

      The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines guidelines for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities.

      Our next major release, scheduled for December 2025, will reflect our good faith implementation of the WCAG 2.2 Level AA accessibility standards. 

      In building and maintaining our website, the following accessibility criteria are, where possible, followed:

      • In all possible cases use a web font so all text is easy to read.
      • Include alt tags for images and graphics to convey information.
      • Navigation through our websites works in a consistent way.
      • In all possible ways for text to have enough contrast, even in different states
      • In all possible ways, all videos will be equipped with transcription to cater to people with hearing impairments and/or inability to watch it with sound.
      • Interactive elements will have focus states, for easier keyboard navigation.
      • Keyboard-accessible navigation for browsing spaces, applying filters, and completing bookings
      • Consistent layouts that follow a logical structure for easier screen reader interpretation
      • Accessible form fields with proper labels and error messages for smooth space creation and booking.
      • Responsive Layout: Our site will continue to be optimised for screen magnifiers and adaptive zoom at 400%+ without content loss or overlap.
      • Skip Links & Landmarks: Implementation of skip links for quick access to key sections like search results, filters, and booking options.

      Supported Technologies

      We aim to support all modern browsers and major assistive technologies. Our supported screen readers include:

      • Windows desktop: Non-Visual Desktop Access (NVDA) and Job Access With Speech (JAWS).
      • Mac: VoiceOver.
      • Mobile: VoiceOver (iOS) and Talkback (Android).
